Thank you for your interest in a commission. By entering into an agreement with Kyousiya for commissioning artwork, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

All commissioned artwork remains the intellectual property of Kyousiya, unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon in writing. Redistribution of commissioned artwork for business or monetary gain, including merchandising, is strictly prohibited without the explicit permission of Kyousiya. 

Kyousiya retains the right to display the commissioned artwork on portfolios, websites, social media, or in promotional materials, with the understanding and acknowledgement that the artwork was created as a commissioned piece. Kyousiya agrees to provide proper attribution to the Client for the commission. If the Client has concerns about privacy or would like to discuss limitations on the display of their commissioned piece, those details can be negotiated and documented in the commission agreement on a case-by-case basis.

Commission prices are determined based on the complexity, style, and size of the artwork. The pricing structure is as follows:

a. Simple Pieces/Non-Rendered Artwork: Starting from $7.

b. Full, Rendered, Completed Piece: Up to $30.

Prices are subject to change, and any adjustments will be communicated and agreed upon between the client and Kyousiya prior to the commencement of a piece.

Clients are encouraged to discuss their budget and preferences during the initial agreement phase to ensure mutual understanding. The final agreed-upon price will be outlined in the commission agreement.

Please note that all prices are in USD (United States Dollars) unless otherwise specified.

The turnaround time for commissioned artwork is estimated to be one to three weeks. The specific timeframe will be individually agreed upon between the customer and Kyousiya.

A non-refundable kill fee, equivalent to half the price of the completed product, is required upfront before the commencement of any work. This fee secures the client's slot and compensates Kyousiya for preliminary efforts.

Clients may choose their preferred method of receiving the completed artwork, including email, Dropbox, Google Drive, a personalized private link through the Kyousiya website, or an alternative method.

Initial Contact: Reach out to Kyousiya, providing a description of your commission.

Agreement: Mutually signed written agreement (provided by Kyousiya) on commission details, including price, delivery method, turnaround time, etc.

Kill Fee: Submission of the non-refundable kill fee.

Sketch Review: Unless otherwise requested, Kyousiya will send a concept sketch for client approval before proceeding to lineart and rendering.

Artwork Completion: Upon client approval of the sketch, Kyousiya will complete the piece and provide a preview.

Final Payment: Once the client approves the final result, the remaining payment is due.

Artwork Delivery: The completed artwork will be delivered in the chosen format (Dropbox, Google Drive file, email, private link through the website, or other).

Kyousiya exclusively provides digital files. Physical prints are not offered as part of the commission service at this time.

Requests for revisions to completed work may be entertained, but Kyousiya reserves the right to accept or decline such requests. The timeframe for revisions is unspecified and will be determined at the discretion of the artist.

Open and clear communication is essential throughout the commission process. Clients are encouraged to promptly respond to messages and provide feedback to ensure a smooth workflow.

The commission agreement is a written document that outlines the specific details of the commission, ensuring clarity and understanding between Kyousiya and the commissioner. Both parties are encouraged to carefully review and discuss the commission agreement before proceeding. Any changes or clarifications should be communicated and agreed upon in writing. By entering into a commission agreement, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in the agreement.
